Data Controller

Data Collected

Through the contact form we collect only the data you voluntarily provide: name, email address, phone number (optional), Porsche model reference, subject and message. We do not use profiling cookies.

Data submitted through the form is stored in the website database (a restricted area accessible only to authorised staff) and simultaneously sent by email to the controller to handle your request.

If you give your consent in the cookie banner, the site also uses Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregate navigation data (pages visited, time on site, device and browser type, and IP address — truncated/pseudonymised by Google). See Section 03 and the Cookie Policy for details.

Purposes and Legal Bases

Your data is processed for the following purposes:

• Handling your contact request: to respond to your enquiry about parts, restoration or classic Porsche vehicles. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Promotional communications (only if you have given explicit consent): sending newsletters, offers and news from Porschemania. Legal basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
• Website statistics and traffic analysis: aggregate measurement of site usage through Google Analytics 4. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given or withdrawn through the cookie banner. Without consent, no analytics data is collected.

Processing Methods and Security

Processing is carried out using electronic and, where necessary, paper-based tools, through the recording, processing and storage of data. The controller adopts appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data and to protect it from unauthorised access, loss or destruction. In the event of a personal data breach posing a risk to the rights and freedoms of the data subject, the controller carries out the notifications required by applicable law.

Data Disclosure

Data may be processed, solely for the purposes set out above, by the controller’s authorised staff and disclosed to parties acting as data processors, in particular the hosting and email service provider that hosts the site and delivers communications. If you consent to analytics cookies, navigation data is also processed by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC, which provides the Google Analytics 4 service as data processor. Data may also be disclosed to the competent authorities where required by law. Personal data is not disseminated.

Data Transfers

Data submitted through the contact form is processed within the European Union and is not transferred to third countries outside the EU/EEA.

Data collected by Google Analytics 4 (only if you have given consent) may be transferred to the United States, where Google LLC is based. This transfer is based on the European Commission’s EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision, under which Google is certified, supplemented where applicable by Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

Contact request data is stored in the website database for a maximum of 24 months from the date of submission, after which it is automatically deleted. If you have consented to receive promotional communications, your data will be retained until you withdraw your consent and will in any case be subject to a periodic review of the continued validity of your consent.

Data collected by Google Analytics 4 is retained according to the retention period configured in the property (currently 14 months), after which it is automatically deleted by Google.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• access the data we hold about you;
• request rectification or erasure (right to be forgotten);
• obtain restriction of processing;
• object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• request data portability in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format;
• withdraw your marketing consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing;
• lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Italian Data Protection Authority — Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

Cookies
