History and details
Fully restored to an exceptionally high standard, brought to as-new condition with an intervention carried out in complete respect of originality and Porsche factory specifications.
The bodywork was fully restored and refinished in its original colour, matching the one recorded on the official Porsche Cardex. A rare and extremely elegant configuration, faithfully preserved to factory specifications.
The original engine was completely rebuilt from scratch, with all-new, zero-kilometre internal components: cylinders, pistons, rings, bearings, crankshaft, connecting rods; the cylinder head was fully overhauled with all valves, valve guides, valve springs and valve seats replaced or restored to original specifications. The lubrication system was completely overhauled, including the oil pump, oil circuit and all associated components brought back to as-new condition. The fuel system was completely rebuilt, with fully rebuilt Weber carburettors, a new or restored fuel pump and a fully rewired ignition system.
The original gearbox was also completely overhauled in every detail: gears, synchromeshes, bearings, shafts, differential and all internal components replaced or restored to guarantee precision and reliability equal to new. The gear linkage and shifter mechanism were completely renewed.
Suspension, braking system and steering were entirely rebuilt: shock absorbers, arms, bushings, joints, brake callipers, discs, lines and master cylinder all new or restored to original Porsche specifications.
Interior completely renewed with period-correct materials and top-level finishing. New carpeting, upholstery, panels and interior details all rebuilt from scratch. Original Recaro seats complete with the original Porsche folding mechanism, also restored and in perfect working order. New headlining.
Every single visible and non-visible component of the car has been restored, replaced or rebuilt. Nothing left to chance.
A total, faithful and meticulous restoration, carried out to concours standard, for one of the most iconic configurations of the 911S.
